    Instructions
    1. Layer onion and chicken in slow cooker.
    2. .Mix flour, garlic powder, salt, spice and turmeric. Sprinkle over chicken.
    3. Add broth, tomatoes, dates and almonds to slow cooker. Cover.
    4. Cook 4 hours on HIGH or 8 hours on LOW. .
    5. Serve with hot cooked couscous, if desired.
