    1. Beat eggs and sugar.
    2. Add vanilla, salt, orange peel and yogurt.
    3. Then add the softened butter and stir on a low speed.
    4. Mix semolina and baking powder and add to the egg mixture. Whisk everything into a uniform mass.
    5. Pour the mass into a greased pan.
    6. Press the halved fresh figs into the dough so that the crust is down in the dough.
    7. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes at 356 F (180 °C).
    8. Cool the cake and serve.
